The Nextbase 612 records in 4K UHD (3840×2160) at 30FPS and has an impressive 150° viewing angle to provide as clear video footage as possible. Along with the stunning clarity of the footage, the Sony Exmor R CMOS image sensor has been combined with a polarizing filter to reduce glare and reflections. These impressive specification ensures that the footage recorded is not only crystal clear, but provides an extensive account of any incident due to the wide angle lens.
Nextbase 612 Recording Modes
The Nextbase 612GW has two recording modes, continuous or parking mode. When the ignition is switched on on the vehicle and the camera boots up, it will stay in continuous recording mode until the vehicle is switched off. Once the vehicle is switched off, the camera will then be powered from it’s internal battery and will be in parking mode. When in parking mode, the camera will then only record if an impact is detected. Once an impact is detected, the camera will record a 3 minute video clip.
Built-In Features
When you connect your IOS or Android device to the camera over Wi-Fi you are able to watch the camera live, review old footage, download footage and change the settings of the camera to your preference.Through the use of the built-in GPS antenna, the camera is able to show the vehicles speed and location information on the video footage.
